When your football schedule includes the Florida Gators, the LSU Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks.... and in successive weeks, there's no time to be wasted on kickin' back and enjoying the summer. Like most major college programs, Ray "Rock" Oliver and Ted Lambrinides have a countdown clock in their Kentucky Wildcat Strength Training complex at the E.J. Nutter Training Facility. But time seems to tick a little faster in this part of Lexington, where Kentucky Wildcat players and staff prepare for the rigors of another Southeastern Conference (SEC) football season.
ASAP~Athletic Strength And Power headed down I-75 South and found out what was going on in the weight room and out on the practice fields. As you'll see in the exclusive, behind the scenes footage, there's some serious work being done.... including a new flair this summer with the "Thursday Night Lights" conditioning program.... a definite high energy, highly charged effort of agility stations, quickness drills and Ram Sleds being pushed and pulled up and down the fields and breakneck speeds.
