What does the Maryland Maryland Men's Basketball team do as soon as they finish a home game? They get in a post game strength training workout! Before they even take off their uniforms, or speak to the media, they head up to the weight room for a post game lift. This video was shot immediately following their win over UVA on February 10, 2010.

Please note, this workout is OPTIONAL, but most of the team has "bought in." Their strength coach, Paul Ricci, knows his player's recovery process begins immediately after the game and he doesn't want to let fatigue set in. A quick post game strength workout loosens up tight muscles, helps remove waste products that cause soreness, and calms down the central nervous system (for a quality night's sleep).

Two of the players in the video are Montrose alumni Greivis Vasquez and Adrian Bowie.

A special thanks to Coach Ricci for sharing this video.
