Ted-

Thanks for your comment on our video.  She is an upperclassman on the team.  For our upperclassmen, we use a variation of Wendler's 5-3-1 program.  This was her 85% week.  Her other sets that day (75% & 80%) were performed for 5 reps.  On the last set, we have them do as many reps as possible, as long as the technique stays solid.  We were expecting 5-10 reps but were not going to stop her.  While it is an expression of mental toughness, that is not the main goal.  I am a firm believer in high rep squats for all athletes at the appropriate time of year.  Great for hypertrophy, core strength, and conditioning.
