The level II course was over 4 days and went in depth on topics such as physiology, nutrition, training theory, sports psychology, and of course all of the events.  The presenters talked about the aforementioned topics as they related specificly to youth athletes, both pre and post pubescent.  The presenters were available at meals and during the evening to speak to regarding any questions that came up concerning any of the topics.  There were coaches from all levels from middle school to college who were attending the event.  I believe the information is relevant for all coaches.  I really enjoyed it and too will be looking to get level II certified in the throws and sprints as well.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

Randall, I noticed you were talking about attending USATF courses.  I just got back from attending the USATF Level II Youth Specialization Course at Wichita State.  Excellent course for those of us who are working with high school athletes and under. It was a great experience and I highly recommend taking the course if you get the oppurtunity.  I will be attending the Level II Throws soon.
