Cool. I can help you (if you want, of course) in this area. I'm work with strength training for swimming and I can send some articles, books or researches about it
(I do not know if you like this kind of sport).
I read your article about specificity of training yesterday. And I like because you tell something is very important to me; some people go to gym for "take the shape of Michael Jordan" and start to use resistive training for that. However the first thing they have to do, in this case, is play basketball !!! This is obvious. Resistive training must to be a complement.
Another thing I want to ask. There is RTS course in your city ?
I don't speak spanish very well, but I can understand something because I had a friend from Mexico that come to live in Brazil some years ago.
Thanks for invite me. I don't if I'll go this time. Do you work only with quality of life or performance too ?
Yes. I speak portuguese. No but I liked. I want to go to USA for make RTS (Resistive training specialist) and CSCS course because we don't have this kind of associations/organizations here. But first I need to improve my english write and conversation I know only read and understand... hauhauhauha
And you ? Have you ever been to the Brazil ?
Hello Lauren how are you ? I'm from Brasil so forgive my bad english... heheheh
I work with training for quality of life too but using powerlifting like sport mode and not additional. Even to try to get people, even minimally, and make athletes feel consistent training for a long time.
Thanks for add. See you
Hey! I'm planning on getting certified through the NSCA as a CPT and CSCS. I think they are the most credible/world renown organization out there. Are you happy to have done it through the NSCA?
