Hello All!
I'm the Head Strength Coach at a Junior College in SoCal, and our resources are somewhat limited. With that being said, can anyone recommend any websites where I can order inexpensive equipment:
bumper plates, olympic weightlifting bars, sleds, harnesses, bungees etc.? I guess I could go through perform better, but I'm looking for decent equipment at a discounted rate.
Or does anyone know if bigger division I universities donate or sell their old weight room equipment once they upgrade their facilities?
Thanks!

Yes, it may be a bit more expensive, but I have decided its worth it. That's after learning the hard way with companies like Power Systems, Samson, and New York Barbell. That being said, we make home made stuff when its safe to do so. Sleds - old tires w/ plywood at the bottom and weights stacked inside, Hurdles - PVC pipe works great, Rope/Chain - Check out an Industrial Supply company.

Best prices I have found for kettlebells are through Wal-Mart. Cap KB. Good finish and handles and free shipping to the store. They come in pounds, but you can't beat the price and actually good quality KB.
Thank you everybody for your help! I appreciate you taking the time to kick a little knowledge to me about these alternative sites/businesses!
